    Lots of lovely different meats, oh and some chips, bread and salad as well. My son took me to Casa Brasil for lunch, it was lovely.

    You could have cooked the pear in wine, or syrup then it would have been edible. Job done. unripe pears are a gift waiting to be cooked, ripe pears a gift waiting to be eaten.
