Uk to US and UK to EU adapters <1 delivered! 13th Jun 10 at 12:21 PM
I needed a few adapters and found these on Amazon,
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/UK-US-America-Travel-Adaptor/dp/B0006OFKNW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1276431554&sr =8-1

Uk - Us for 97p delivered
Uk - Eu for 80p delivered

These are good quality - I've just had mine delivered and they're no worse than the ones from Boots - however I've not seen them in action yet!

    glad it helped!

I was warey when I read the feedback but I was charged the right price (no other odd payments gone out since I got them) and the products look basic but that's what I expected for less than 1!

That's much better than I did at Asda yesterday -- got two for 3. (They also had a small travel kettle for 9 if that helps anyone.)

Main advantage other than having a set of UK sockets available is that it seems safer to have the extension plugged in directly than hanging off an adaptor, especially regarding earthing, plus the individual plugs are often cheaper than the cost of an adaptor.

If you go into Asda, Tesco and the like they adaptors are 3 or more each, and at the airport or on the ferry you can easily pay 8 for what is a bit of plastic and metal. I've thus been buying adaptors from the Poundland or similar shops for the last few years - the best I've got is 2 for 1 in one of the cheapie shops. Bought a large stock at that price !
I'd be happier on holiday in Brittany than being at work !

    Plug Adaptors
You can get both the EU and US adaptors for 99p from Dunelm Mill stores.
