Tell your O/H happy birthday he shares it with me

If you google Delia, she has some fabulous cake recipes that are easy to do.

I made a chocolate Victoria sandwich with butter icing on the top and in the middle and then scatted crushed up Crunchie bars on top!

I made this cake for my daughters 5th birthday on 2nd April and everyone loved it.
Make a chocolate sponge. When cold cut hole out the middle and about half way down. Cover with melted chocolate and then grate chocolate and stick this all over. In the hole in the middle add loads of mini eggs/chocolate eggs and some little chicks if you have them and there you have a really delicious birds nest. Looks fab and as if you've spent hours on it.
    Good luck!!!!

    I just found this

    Delia's chocolate beer cake

    Don't know if its good but I haven't yet made a Delia cake I didn't like ....

THis is my o/h's favourite as its not got butter cream or icing on it but tastes really good.
