How soon after Christmas Day will you be food shopping again? 24th Dec 08 at 7:34 PM
This fascinates me somewhat. Despite the food shops all heaving until closing time on Xmas Eve and everyone stockpiling food like it was going out of fashion- the food shops will undoubtedly be heaving again on Boxing Day with trolleys piled high with food.

Of course REAL Old Stylers will not be amongst the crowds so soon after the big day buying more food....

    Or will they?

    Merry Christmas to all.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I'm not planning to need anything other than milk or a bit of salad stuff before New year.

providing I'm well enough to make some shortbread for new year that is

I meal planned for a fortnight from Monday so we shouldn't need anything until the 4th but if we have people over for New Year then I will have to go out for some stuff. Bit undecided yet about what we are up to so its on the back burner for now.

NEVER - sorry, that's wishful thinking. We'll get through until the middle of January apart from fresh fruit and milk. xx

We're away for Christmas so will need to stock up on milk, dairy, fruit and veg when we get home.

Will keep eyes peeled for YS items of course.

Will need milk and fruit (my lot get through an astonishing amount of fruit) by Saturday, I should think. Might pick up a few other things if they're good deals, but I'm not expecting to do a proper grocery shop again until the first week in January.

My new (second) freezer is due to be delivered on Saturday morning, so with a bit of luck I'll be out on Sunday looking for bargains to fill it.

Saturday, I dont have enough room in the cupboards and fridge/freezer to stash stuff.

I don't drive and can only buy what I can carry so will be out again on Friday or Saturday for milk and farmers market or butcher for some meat or chicken and veg.

I certainly don't intend going shopping until next year. I may possibly need milk - it always seem to go off before we finish it!

Have cupboards and freezer full. Went to Tesco yesterday half an hour before it closed and got loads of packs of veg for 10p each, some salmon, 4 quiches, a couple of curries, bread etc etc. It came to 14!!

I hate shopping so will not be rushing to go again!

I'll need fresh fruit and veg on Sunday/Monday and that should hopefully be it until the weekend after.

I'm okay for milk (I use UHT) and I've enough stuff in to make a few breadcakes if I need them.
