Tax credit and Capital Gain

Hi I have been reading through the thread and I am in a very similar situation. I have rung the hmrc tax credits helpline and they are referring me to the exact same reference on their page. As discussed prior capital gains is not a dividend and the quote is under dividends.
Do you have proof of the twitter chat atall ? Or any advice how to move forward?
