The kids are getting a nintendo switch for xmas and I'm looking for recommendations for a game or 2 to go with it preferably ones that aren't too expensive.
any other accessories I should look at?

    Mario party is a great game for all ages and multi player. You would probably want to invite in more joy cons though.

    For any more than 2 players you need extra joy cons and they need to be the proper ones at around £60 a pair, you can't get 3rd party ones.

    Mario Kart is good for all ages with assists for younger (or just not as good) players.

    Just purchased one as well for mine.
    Games are Minecraft and Super Mario Odyssey. Kids have spent hours watching game play on youtube..

    There a lot of good "indie" games on the switch.

    Overcooked is a brilliant one to play with the kids, as it's very easy to pick up and play!

    If they are not too young, my time in portia is epic. You basically go around a town harvesting things like wood and building things. You make upgrades to your workshop and go mining and fishing and all kinds of sub games. i have sunk so much time into it! I think it's like £14.99 on the switch store too!
