I've just had a message about a study I did:Study: Few questions about personality and opinions
From: 5b151963bd9c31000156f215
Hello -
I am writing to thank you for taking our survey, but also to ask you to return your submission voluntarily so we do not reject it and you get penalised. The reason is that you failed to answer some of the questions and the data is not useful to us. Therefore, please return your submission as soon as possible.
Thank you!
I'm quite surprised. I do pay attention and answer all of the questions (an answer is always required anyway). It was hosted by students.stir.ac.uk and worth 90p. Has anyone else had any issues? If they reject it what would the penalty be?0 -

Its difficult to know what the impact would be. If you have done a lot of studies then one rejection probably won't make a difference (we used to have a rating out of 100 which rarely seemed to be affected by one rejection). However if you have done ten studies and had 5 rejected that would probably have an effect.
My husband has just done this study and had exactly the same message as you which makes it sound a bit fishy to me or as if there was a problem with the study. I'm not one to think the worst of people but it does sound as if they want the data and the money. If it were me I'd be letting them reject it or ask for more information about what the issue was.0
