    Chanie, that was the 1st decent roadkill for me in a long while. Usually can not even find 1p recently


    My daughter gave me £24 to buy a Groupon meal for 2 with wine that I wanted to buy but could not afford to and she gave me another £20 for washing, drying, conditioning and corn rowing her hair :D

    Yes Chanie, it is. I find that I make more effort to try to locate the items that I need or want at the cheapest prices that I can.

    I am buying lots of items in Lidl now, as they are much better value, but I have to carry bags of shopping which does not help my Arthritis but from a financial point is really necessary. :)

    I still do my weekly grocery shopping online with Tesco and I will continue to go to Poundland, but mostly I will buy the items I would normally buy in Poundland from Lidl where I can to save money, even if it is pennies. :D

    We have been doing our main shop in Lidl for years now. When we started going, our local store was pretty quiet so we didnt mind going. Now, our local store is heaving, so we have to put up with car parks that you cant even get into, tiny aisles that are packed full of people and lots of items out of stock.

    We love the Lidl biscuits too and prefer them to the named brands.
