I'm struggling with the "fallout" from having human visitors yesterday (albeit with their puppy in tow, but it's still stressful dealing with humans), so energy levels not so good.

    However, on today's agenda are:
    • Steam-clean the bath lift
    • Give the car a good once-over - Mr LW is going to walk me through the regular checks he does - lights, tyre tread depth, oil level, screen wash level, et al.
    • Get the recycling ready to go out tomorrow.
After that..... we'll see how we go.

ETA: Iona I hope the funeral goes as well as these things can; and that Rosie has a good stay in kennels.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

St Malo was lovely but exhausting. Lots of walking done which should help on the slinky front nd I am hoping there has been some damage limitation what with three course evening meals, hearty breakfasts and crepes nd galette and a bolee de cidre...
    V. Pleased with my current fave fragrance being 50% off (clearance basket) in duty free!
There's a distinct lack of benches/seating in st malo!
    Home tomorrow

  • Day two of the week and a work day, first day in the office for 4 week's die to visits and time away and I know there is mountains to do.
Hubby is going to drop Pickle off at the Childminder's so I can start early. It's also our wedding anniversary so we may pop out at lunch time. Who knows?

Kept on top of jobs yesterday. Still not s full load of washing, so will push it into tomorrow.

Didn't get the knitting done last night as a friend came round who's going through a relationship break up. All very sad.

    My list for the week:

Keep on top of the washing
Keep the dining room table clear
Some knitting every evening (10 rows would be good)
Have a good wedding anniversary (Tuesday)
    Have a good birthday (Thursday)

(I will add more as it comes to me).[/QUOTE]
