£3350 for combi boiler

Replace old boiler and water tank with Worcester greenstar 25l. Boiler will remain in same place but some extra piping is needed including condense pipe. Standard flue and box to ensure ventilation goes under balcony of flat above. Plus power flush for 6 radiators.

This price includes VAT and he reckons it'll take a couple of days.

Interested to know if people think the price of £3350 is Ok. Thanks

That's not too bad - it's a decent boiler. I paid £2700 for an Ideal 35 but that was by my BIL who's Gas Safe with me buying all the parts

What part of the country are you in? Plays a big part of what the price is.

Hi, yes ball park figure around £3,000, We charged £2700 on last job. Also make sure they actually do a powerflush and not just drain the water out.

On older systems you can get a build up of sludge so its imperative this is done otherwise that sludge will get in the components of your new boiler and won't last as long.

15 years you should get if its serviced every year.
