I don't think there is a separate Forum on MSE for this, so hopefully it wont offend anyones sensibilities, and also it's only 11 days away

Post comments, and moans, tips and offers, even funny photos and Gifs.

Do you like to watch a nice Horror Film on Halloween Night?

Do you give to Trick or Treaters? Or do you hide away?

I used to watch The Halloween Film (1978) and it's sequel Halloween II (1981) snuggled up with my Bf many years ago

Show a child today a basin full of floating apples or a dripping treacle scone dangling from the ceiling on a string and you would see some real horror come over their faces instead of the shop bought rubbish they wear.

I'll be battening down the hatches, lights out, and arming the landmine at my door to avoid it

It's unlikely any trick or treaters will call here but I won't answer the door that night anyway. I wouldn't want to encourage them, and also I'm not really sure what they want. Money, I guess?

I'll enjoy watching some horror films but that's all. I might look out the window if I hear fireworks in case someone local is having a nice display. Basically, to me, Halloween marks the beginning of the Christmas season. So I love it

I have a notice I put on the door that says Trick or Treaters will be eaten (and not by me dawg)

Seriously, I do have a police issued notice politely asking them to not bother me. I don't answer the door after dark anyway.
Some people only exist as examples of what to avoid...
