I recommend "Danny The Champion Of The World"

This film is really good and with some excellent actors. We read the book @ school and it was lovely to recall the memories of the book with the movie.

The Mechanic was excellent (edge of seat action!!!) and a really good ending! Jason Statham is excellent (as always)

Watched it on Netflix - If anybody can recommend anything on there would be good.

THe last film I saw was 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy' - superb!

All the actors are fantastic and it certainly knocks Spooks into a cocked hat!

I like the Hangover, but fell asleep at the Hang Over 2.

I thought the new Planet of the Apes film was brilliant.

ps I don't fall asleep because the films are boring, I just get too comfortable on the sofa!

Recently watched Melancholia and Attack the Block. They're probably as far apart as you can get genre-wise and I enjoyed them both greatly. Mind you I did fast-forward through the montage bit at the start of Melancholia

Loved War Horse and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Didn't cry at WH, but it was very tense. Interestingly all the ordinary soldiers were portrayed as humane. However, the German officers were harsh, while the British ones were twits.

I watched The Fighter with Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale a couple of weeks ago. It was the best film i've seen for a good while. Didn't think i'd enjoy a film about boxing. I don't normally get to choose what films I see as i'm normally dictated to by my daughter!

Baise-Moi French Film, Not for the faint hearted. Very violent and sexually graphic. OK

    Blitz
    - I loved this film. Violent but Jason Statham was excellent.

Saw The Muppets last night - and there wasn't a child in the cinema. It was a lot better than I expected - had me laughing out loud quite a lot!
