:rotfl:"sleeping times are a peaceful affair" promptly gets me thinking "Well - of course - that's as it ought to be....so why bother to mention it?"
The first photo was clear enough that I could spot my personal "Here be bodgers" sign (ie visible piping going up the wall) and turned me off straight away.0 -

Well speaking as someone who, between upstairs, downstairs and next door, is currently struggling on that front, it would be an immediately plus for me.0 -

My sympathies - and I hope you manage to get this sorted soon.
Guess I didnt phrase that too well - ie most people take it for granted that the neighbours wont disrupt a decent nights sleep.
I was making the point that most of us take it for granted that we get the "peace and quiet" we need (are absolutely entitled to have) at night in our bedrooms
But I do know/have experienced personally the frustration/anger of those times when a neighbour (or nearby traffic) does disrupt that "peace and quiet"....
Fingers crossed for you that this will resolve soon.0 -
What on earth could be under that bed cover!!?
