Recently booked a holiday at Butlins and accidentally stumbled across an extra 5% discount compared to the (supposedly already discounted) online prices when phoning up.
The first time we phoned the customer booking number we were quoted the same as the online price. When we phoned back again to confirm our booking, we rang the same number but appear to have got straight through to the resort instead where the price was 5% cheaper.
So anyone looking to book with Butlins, try dialling direct to the resort rather than the customer booking line.

Its the same with most Haven parks. Phoning the park directly is 'usually' cheaper than either booking online or phoning central bookings.0

It's always cheaper when you phone Butlins. I've been going for years and always book this way. Sometimes there's swings of hundreds of pounds too.0
