Neither. They are both as bad as each other.

Agreed. Both total rubbish in my opinion. My mum unbeknown to me had Kaspersky installed on her laptop and it is such a resource hog.

I personally use Avast but hear that AVG is very good as well.

    Good Luck
  • I would say these day, if you are using Windows 10, they comes with a pretty good Anti-Virus from Microsoft itself. My experience is that, it does the job quite well. Most importantly, unlike other Anti-Virus in the market, Windows Defender doesn't slow down your computer.

If you really insist an extra Anti-Virus for peace of mind, I would recommend try out Avira at no cost. If you're happy with their product, you may consider to pay for it. Avira is from Germany, and I have certain confident level on Germany's engineering product :)

Your wrong. All the AV companies pay an equal fee to be tested unless you know different.

    Sigh

The ones who do pay, all pay equal.

But not everybody pays - MS do not pay

Quote from your own link ..

"In several cases it happens that a vendor is tested even if it do not apply for it. In this case, the costs will be covered either by the magazines or by other independent parties, which requested the results."

Take from that what you will.

Please be accurate when trying to do the whole "you're wrong" thing
(and also try to spell it right ;) )
