    In my purse £25.00.

On Saturday it’s one of the women I work with birthday so round they came collecting now a bit of back story last February they stopped birthday collections a week before the lady sat opposite me had hers mine was in April I was also told quite abruptly in a team meeting there would be no collection done then suddenly a week before the managers birthday we were all doing the collections again I know it’s petty but it really annoyed me so today they came collecting the suggested amount is £2. The lady who does the collections approached me and the lady opposite me asked for £2 she looked in my purse as I opened it and started messing with the money and said just give me the fiver and put £3 on my desk this really annoyed me so I fished all my coins out all £1.23 of them picked up the £3 and put it in her hand closed my purse and put it in my bag. The lady opposite gave her a pound and smiled at me we were told she hoped people were less then generous to us come our birthdays to which I replied getting a 50p card would be an improvement on my last birthday collection I think the penny dropped and she quickly walked away. Ok petty maybe but things like that annoy me everyone should be treated the same sorry for the rant

Wishing you luck on your debt journeyand to say that small steps are the way to start. As the saying goes 'a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step'. :)

Well done on the collection front... you're a better person than me though as I'd have refused to put anything in! :rotfl:
    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy

Chrystal Honestly I nearly told her to shove it but I do like the person they are collecting for me and the lady opposite have said we will only give for certain people this time around. If they do the same next time I’ll honestly hit the roof we normally get a card and cake to share round the office and a small token gift but it’s nice to be treated on your birthday

Wages have been paid in £263.14 and DD’s mobile has been paid by DD £60.53 this is high as DD wanted a new phone and I decided to get her what she wanted, it is part of her Christmas and Birthday presents, this will be looked at next time as she will be old enough to pay her own bill.

Today I am really tired and so glad I have the night off from the evening job, I need an early night.

    Plans for the weekend:

    • Get the living room finished I have some painting to do and I have the wallpaper I have everything I need just need to get it finished, going to rope DD in to help.
    • Clean the house through and catch up with the last bits of washing
    • Cut the hedges front and back (apparently the weather will be nice) but we ill see
    • If it’s raining then it will be getting the hall way decorated too as I have bought everything I need to get that done to.

Going to a busy weekend so loud music and lots of coffee will be on the cards. I am working Saturday night for the take away but not sure what I will earn as I’m not sure if I’m driving or serving in the shop. That will go towards my debt, I plan on putting money on my rent card Saturday night and bringing that down a bit. Tuesday I can pay £600 off the loan so that will get me closer to my £800 a month target.
I am going to look for Hoover bags tonight as I was looking on Amazon and there seems to be re usable one’s available with really good reviews so I think I might look at those this time. I also need to get a new moon cup as mine is wearing out but I have had it about 8 years now so that has saved me a fortune during its life time.
    That’s it for now.

My first NSD :j finally it took me a few days work was fun we weren’t given the card to sign and no cake offered :rotfl: I have to laugh at the pettiness of it but me and my friend had the last laugh as she bought in some of her red velvet cake we had it at 2pm it is so good, that reminds me I must get the recipe. We just got on with work and had a good chat we often meet once a month at Costa but we have said we should meet at each other’s houses as she knows I’m paying debts off and she paying her mortgage off so we can support each other. It’s nice to have someone you can talk to as we are both single with one child and we both said today it’s hard not having support while doing this so we are going to support each other.

Bears food still isn’t in stock fingers crossed it will be at the weekend, I’ve made a food shopping list and the grand total of what I need is two bottles of milk so I am going to take two pound with me so I can’t buy other stuff, DD wanted snacks tonight but I had to say no we still have three packets of Oreos I get from the market they were selling the three for a pound so I said she can have some of those or use her pocket money.

I’m off to watch the good place on Netflix it’s a really good series nice to relax watching but first I’m going to make some far far my new favourite cheap snack.

So much for a relaxing night I got called into the take away for an hour and with tips I didn’t do too bad plus free pizza and chips. It takes me closer to debt freedom.

Tomorrow I have to go to town as DD BFs mum gave birth last night so going to look for a bargain to give the baby and chocolates for mum. If anyone has an idea before tomorrow feel free to comment.

Bought DDs bf new sister a toy from babiesrus for £6.99 it’s a cuddly toy with teething ring and different textures, chocolates for his mum cost me £10 and a bag and card £3.25 so a total of £20.24.

I also put £15 Petrol in the car and I spent 49p on a drink while shopping not too bad really as they were needs more then wants mostly wish I had planned better for the baby present but a lesson learnt.

I’ll get some back in my purse tonight as I’m working plus dinner free. Right off to get on with some jobs at home

I must get my butt in gear tomorrow.

DD's bf's mum loved the present for baby so I'm really pleased, plus she loves choccies so glad I spent the time looking around. Off to collect DD then bath and bed tonight.
