Had a letter from Pension Profiles in Preston.
It relates to unallocated pension contributions when you contracted out of SERPS . They say they will trace any money that has gone into " other pots" with an obvious commission !
Can this be done by myself , if so how , or are they just fishing for my pension details ?

Unsolicited contact is usually related to pension scams.
Avoid.

Genuine regulated financial firms do not cold call/cold market.

The general rule of thumb is to not act on these as most turn out to be scams.
