Hi Bobarella, I was just wondering if the letter to 'Dear Jeremy' on 3 March in the Guardian is from you?

Nope not guilty. But thanks for flagging it up. Read it and the comments were very interesting :)

    Hi All

I noticed that they are doing a load your card offer on Nectar so you get triple points on your next 10 shops before the end of March. You just log onto your nectar account to get the points.

Sugarbaby they also had an eBay offer on there which made me think of you :)

Used the world book day £1 off voucher to buy DS4 a book he claimed he wanted (he has forgotten about it already).

The school really ramped up the excitement level about the 'Book Fair' after school so I could not have said no without a MAJOR tantrum - some were crying on the playground and being dragged away by parents.
They would have bought the Yellow Pages if it had been there. Parents were handing over their cards like mad things. Some of the books were £15 ! I know it is a money making opportunity for the school, but still, when DS4 can't even take his own reading book in to read (Harry Potter) as it might encourage other kids to bring books in, I find it hypocritical. Still, 'tis done, £5 down, one book up.

    Morning All

I had a classic today (again) I found a big haul of things as I was walking to work. 4 side plates, a chair, a toilet seat in its wrappings still, a thesaurus, & a play bag for a child.
Now the funny bit was, we need side plates. I just spent £2 buying two yesterday with the intention of stocking up a few at a time, so that has saved me £4 based on the very cheapest. The toilet seat in our downstairs loo has been broken for goodness knows how long, so hello loo seat :) My son can make use of the Thesaurus, the chair can be used at work, & the play bag entertained DD for all of 5 mins before she must have thrown it over the edge of her buggy :)

Also forgot to log the very ancient 20p found yesterday, and penny today.

Reminded me of the Pokemon trading cards seller at the school fair. The stall was knee deep in 7/8 year olds holding aloft notes like city traders in a pub :) that school isnt silly.
