Hi all,
I will stay on the other thread until month-end but wanted to updated my October budget as its for a full month. I think I'll go for
300
It's a lot more than September but I'll be switching on the second freezer probably in the run up to winter / Christmas, as I have quite a few guests coming. So it will need some food in it!Bossymoo

Hi all,
I've had a few nightmare months with spending, so this is me getting back on track I hope.
I've got an AF order, and just had a Tosco and Ald* run, so really I shouldn't need much this month; bread, milk, eggs, fresh stuff and maybe another Ald* run for meat halfway through. So my food spend should not under any circumstances go over £100. If it does, one of you come round and slap me
My big weakness at the moment is booze, I'm spending a fortune on pints out and bottles of wine in. I really do need to cut down as it's not doing me any good. Again, if I start overspending, one of you come over and peel my fingers from the glass and give me a slap. Then drink it yourself :rotfl:
Also, I started smoking again over the summer because I was hanging round with a lot of smokers. This DEFINITELY has to go. I'm going to stop smoking on 29 September and will post on here as well as it's money that ultimately isn't available for groceries. If I buckle, you may come round with a frying pan . Wish me luck!Grocery challenge September 2022: £230.04/£200
