Credit Card Cheques @ 0%

Do any of the credit card companies allow you to use credit card cheques while on a 0% intorductory period for purchases??

If so which ones??

  • Mint Card provide Transfer & Save Cheques When You Open The Account.
  • I think Mint might. Some simply allow purchases but I guess that doesn't help if the retailer doesn't take credit cards.

    Goldfish do also. I used one of their convenience cheques to pay £90 towards my TV Licence. It appears on the statement as a 'balance transfer' [NB normal purchases should not be made with this card since 0% only applies to BTs]

    Saga have just opened (1 September) a six-month 0% offer on "convenience cheques" and BTs. Valid to 28 February 2005

    This offer does not yet appear on their website, but is shown on a flyer with the September bill.
