Works for me :). I just fancied something different and made your marmalade nuked pudding, and wow was that good. I had it with custard and it is delicious, and so quick and easy. I was looking at the rest and thinking that I should probably save it for tomorrow, but I think it will probably get eaten at some point this evening, as a snack while watching tv :D.

Worked for me as well, I used cheapo strawberry jam, served with Greek Yoghurt

Scoffed the lot, later after the belly buster I just had tinned spag on toast, with dash Bianca balsamic vinegar stirred in, I think it cuts through the tomato gloop sweetness

I've a feeling .... some of you might soon be ready for my "instant DIY Goblin puddings" recipe :)

We'll wait a bit, it's not "proper winter" yet.

I've got one of them lurking in my pantry, near the Fray Bentos one :o

I use cheapo jams, cheapo marmalades and cheapo curds and golden syrup. Whatever jar is currently open or needs using up. Also - sultanas, currants. And curd & sultanas. I rarely make two the same. :) Chocolate buttons tossed in work a treat too :) ... and mini rolos.... nutella blobs .... glace cherries .... and ... stop me now!!!
If I've got it and it can be lobbed in, it goes in. Different one every time.

No yoghurt though ... what nonsense is that when there's custard in the world? :)

I popped out ... sweeties from Home Bargains. Big biker chap queuing behind me had a stack of the FB pies .... I was tempted to say "No.... they're !!!!!!...." but maybe he likes them, somebody must. They can't only be selling them to people who used to like them and thought they'd try another one!

Plus for some it is convenience, and handy to bung in the Food Bank collecting points, and some maybe have never had the old ones we grew up with, in which case perhaps they are lovely compared to somethings, like a Gregg's meat pasty

    Morning everyone

I finished the last of the Greek yoghurt this morning with some berries for breakfast. I thought it would be ok because I haven't suffered any ill effects from eating it yesterday!

As I'm bored waiting for the new f/f I thought that it would help to eat something else from the old f/f so I've had a crumpet with butter as well.

I think lunch will be either a cheese toastie or I may open a tin of tuna and work my way through that by starting with a tuna mayo sandwich.

Dinner will be something lurking in the freezer, probably a moussaka ready meal that I found at the back of one of the draws yesterday. I don't know how long it has been in there, but it can be microwaved from frozen, and it is taking up a lot of room.

As I transfer things over to the new f/f I'm going to put everything like this in one draw and just live on that until it's gone, and not replace it. It's an ideal opportunity to sort it out. I will probably be eating a few odd combinations but I am determined to eat it all rather than waste it.

I popped out car booting .... didn't really expect to find anything, but I did come home with a small side table and a novelty tin. I've got a long coffee table I've had about 4 years (cost me £0) ... but it's not great... and it's a bit big.... so I'll use the new/smaller one (cost me £5) which "matches" closer to the shelf unit I bought the other month...

I've a real mis-match of random bits/bobs in the living room, none of which match :) Total cost of all furniture in the living room is about £60.

On the way back I popped into Sainsbobs and they had some 8th Oct baking spuds (2.5Kg) reduced to £1, so I compared that £/Kg with the cheapo spuds in their other shelves and that worked out cheaper, so I bought the bag. Then it was off to L1dl for some fizzy pop and their weekend cheese offer/cheddar. So lunch is a jacket spud/cheese and a spoon of beans from the last tin I opened.

    Sunday lunch, 30p :)

    Afternoon all

Bit of a mexican theme running through todays menu, started off with cheese, ham and mustard quesadilla for brunch. I've been nibbling on crisps and a dip I made with the last of the yoghurt some mayo, garlic, worchester sauce and a squirt of sriracha - it didn't last long, its so addictive and I'll have a spicy bean casserole, roasted cauliflower, taco shells & salsa for tea.

    Good evening everyone,
Younger son has departed and elder & his gf are off watching the footie and are having a chippy so back to CFO for me:). Think it will be some LO chilli/lime fish with pasta. Food last night was a great success and not too much by way of LOs. The fish dish divided the crowd one of my pals couldn't get enough of it but my sister wasn't keen. The beef was the star though, one of these dishes that's hard to justify when CFO but I just might at some point and freeze portions ;). All the salsa and guacamole was scoffed. I decided it was a good way to use up lots of ripe cherry toms, though after deseeding & chopping nearly 100 of them I'm glad I don't have to do that every day:eek::D.
I'm back to CFO proper tomorrow though just for one night as my younger son is coming back on Tuesay evening overnight to take me to a balance specialists appointment on Wednesday, It's a right trek for him but I really appreciate it :D.

PN - I think you should link us your blog if you feel comfortable doing so , as you say most don't cater for the realities of CFO so s@d the lack of lifestyle shots (I'm sure if it's of the standard of the photos you show here it will be pretty decent:))
