    It is not the legal entity, it is classed as redundancies made at "an establishment". In the case of Wickes, each store would be classed as an establishment, they would not be required to put the entire company redundancies together...

    if this is the case then why are the unions telling M&S that they have to give 90 days consultation for there redundanies they are in the same possition as wickes staff was

    Not seen the story so not sure exactly what "the unions are telling M&S", but they have announced 400 ish redundancies at their head office, so would assume that they are talking about that....?

    they are making 1200 people redundant in total from different locations this is why the union is stating they must give 90 day consultation
