Direct Line came up as vastly cheaper than everyone else when I searched for my mums public liability insurance for her business. Granted its a small home based business, and different risks to your business, but worth a couple of minutes entering your details to see. They don't appear on comparison websites so you have to go directly to them.
you may also get a discount if you or anyone at your address has another policy with them - home, car, pet etc. or when you come to renew anything, a PL policy counts towards the discountMortgage = [STRIKE]£113,495 (May 2009)[/STRIKE] £67462.74 Jun 20190 -
Don't know if it helps
Wife's a mobile hairdresser, her public liability insurance with Direct Line is £11 a monthThe way things are going, soon we are all going to be victims of something or other.
Who will we blame then?0 -
Try trade groups such as magic circle etc, membership often includes liability0

Public liability only or a combo with Professional Indemnity?
Define ridiculous. £1000s? Because couple of £100s is normal for PI/PL insurance.0
