RTA - not at fault

Options
Son is self-employed taxi driver and involved in not-at-fault RTA. Other driver has admitted in writing and on camera that it was his (other driver) fault. Son off work for 3 days but not via GP. Is it easier to deal direct with other insurers direct for loss of earnings or utilise taxi insurance company / claims firms? / legal avenues. Thanks

Depends on how confident he is on doing it himself

(Easiest is to hand it all to a claims firm to deal with it for him)
