I have looked back at old letters.. The conveyancing team sent me correspondence about our Remortgage and Transfer of Equity back in 2011 , I am hoping that the attatched land registry which does say he is the registered proprietor is more of an add on to the original
I thought you'd done a £3 title register search? Make sure you use the genuine portal
https://www.gov.uk/search-property-information-land-registry
As long as you are mentioned there, you're at least a joint owner.0 -
i am confused.. I am not mentioned on this , I did it like you said paying £3.. when i google transfer of equity it says this means adding or removing someone from register so was relived when i read this as this is what my paper work says was requested0

Unless I'm missing something, where a property is jointly owned, both names should appear on the register
You can ask the Land Registry about this either in a public forum or as an online question here
https://support.landregistry.gov.uk/landregistry
They usually manage a same-day reply. I'll be delighted to be reassured that you have nothing to worry about.0 -
I have just sent them a message . Thanks0

i have reduced house insurance to £19 pm and spread counciltax on 25% reduction over 12 months.. thanks for all your help
I like those sort of savings, less money spent but without cutting back on your quality of life. Good start! But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.
