It is a sticky, just not while I was working on it.

I had to let Martin's sticky go  as the Forum Team prefer us to limit them.

  • If reading lots of techie stuff isn't your thing, there is some downloadable audio conversations here.... http://www.grc.com/SecurityNow.htm#16 that cover pretty much all sorts of computer security vulnerability etc etc :)

Also, try the "Shield Up" page on that site to check for any leaks in your computer firewall ;)
  • Just a quick question, can i set up a wireless broadband connection just for a laptop? Most of the advice I have seen talks about networks and setting up multiple pcs.
    Thanks in advance

  • Hi I'm after a wireless network card for my Pocket PC, I have a Belkin Router, with two wireless USB connectors and a wireless PCMCIA card for my laptop (all Belkin) I have checked out the Belkin website but they do not do them for PDAs. My Pocket PC is a Toshiba e750 but it hasn't got a wireless utility with. I have seen wireless network CF cards from different manufacturers but unsure if they will be compatible and also which one to get. Any ideas?

I have also read through the threads on wireless but can't find what I'm looking for.

Basically you do not need to worry about the make of the equipment. If Belkin do not make a suitable CF card for your Toshiba PDA, just buy any card that meets the world wide 802.11b/g Wireless LAN standard.
