Overpay on mortgage or cash ISA??

Hi

not thinking straight tonight so this should be a really easy question to answer? I have £3k to either overpay on the mortgage or put into a cash ISA.

mortgage - Nationwide 4.89%, 5.9%APR, daily interest

Best cash ISA - 5.2%

I can overpay any amount on the mortgage and there's no problem getting money back out from the mortgage but don't envisage that I'll need to.

Suggestions ???
thanks
Dave

Use the ISA, you only get the allowance once a year use it. It could potentially outlive your mortgage and still remain tax free :)
