Has anybody received cashback for fuel/rail travel, department stores or supermarket spending carried out abroad on their Santander 123 credit card ?

Do foreign retailers have the same merchant codes that the cashback is worked out on ?

Now it has no foreign transaction fee, I wonder if I should use this in place of my Halifax Clarity card when overseas.
