Hi Firegirl,
Just read your diary and wanted to say well done on all your ebaying and massive overpayments. Good luck with the work situation and when they finally make a decision it is one that you are happy with.

Hi fire girl. I have a similar timeframe to be mortgage free give or take a few months & whilst it's not as big as yours, I'm still trying to pay odd bits here & there to reduce it. Well done on your journey so far & im feeling encouraged to continue after reading your thread Mortgage Balance April 24- £22,400.5 years 3 months left0

Can't believe my diary is encouraging you to continue:rotfl:
I'm really glad though! It is hard to keep the balance between MFW and living life to the full and I sway between the 2 a lot:rotfl:

So I've updated my signature and I've drifted off target in the last few months. Real shame but did a huge drift into life is worth living and your only young once!
Got my redundancy and then later found out my notice period is a year and half! I've asked for payrise and retention bonus so if that works out then that will put me back on track!Mortgage balance Feb 2015 start of MFW Journey-£245316.06/Aim to be mortgage neutral 2022 — Target for May 2024 14 Year Target Balance MF50 = £89,535 — Mortgage Balance £106, 000—Target for May 2024! £89,535
