Well, last week I met my spending target: 41.09/50 yay!
This week is eye-watering. Leaving aside the direct debits which I can't affect one way or another (plus they're for rent and bills), the spending I *do* have control over this week is £350 which is to cover the following items:
Groceries -- £30
Hair -- £80
Outings -- £60 (going to see a friend and her baby, also going to a birthday dinner for self and another friend)
Train tickets -- £30 (from Manchester to London, what can I say, I'm optimistic I can beat the full ticket price!)
Van hire -- £150 (to move self and three friends over three days in July. Booking early as it's peak time)
My real goal is to see how much I can beat this amount by.LBM: June 2023. Amount owed: ~£10,000I've gone debt free before, I can do it again!0 -
Got an early morning train: £17.15 with my railcard. A good start, I say.
Was going to shop, but I reckon I can get half my meals for the week out of the food I have in my fridge/freezer first. £0.89 for milk today.

NSD for me today. Spent most of the day in, although popped to my parents for a quick visit.
Hubby's back to work tonight for the week so should be a slightly cheaper week for me.SPC 14 Target £200 /

Hi everyone and thanks to ETO for the thread. I am going for a budget of £15 this week. I've already spent £5.28 on some tomatoes, milk and a magazine with a card which will get me 2 for 1 entry into gardens for a year - useful for when I have visitors, so that leave me 9.72 to play with.0
