QB Wolf's long and winding road

Hi Lois,
Hope you're well?
TBH we think they set the price too high, they are now suggesting to bring it down, but I'm tempted to leave it where it is for a while longer, it's still early days.
It's a bit annoying as they're meant to be the experts, they gave us a price and now 3 weeks later want to reduce it, I do wonder whether they suckered us in to go with them!!Start Date 16/09/2015

It's standard EA policy, I think - suggest a price that's too high to attract the seller, try it for a little while on the off-chance somebody really loves the place, and then advise the seller to drop the price after a few weeks. Most of them do it, I'm afraid, although it's disappointing for the sellers they do it to. Mmmm well we fell for it, hook, line......
Went to see another house today, but it wasn't really what we wanted, in some ways it was quite nice to not like it, takes the pressure off.Start Date 16/09/2015

I am feeling particularly Sundaynightish.....
I have to be up at 5:30 to take Mrs QBWs family back to the airport, we've had a great week with them and feel sad to see them go back
I get the feeling it's going to be a long hard week at work too.
My boy is struggling to go to sleep in this heat, his 7:00 bedtime has gone to 9:30, making our evenings short, no pre-school now for six weeks and I feel a little envious of Mrs QBW being able to spend time with the kids, it will be hard work for her though.
At least I'll be making an OP on Thursday, that's something to look forward to.
I need to iron a shirt and make lunch and have a shave for tomorrow, as time will be short, however I don't feel at all motivated !!!Start Date 16/09/2015

Good luck for the week ahead, QBW. Hope it turns out to be less draining than you expect.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Forgot to say I'm also feeling particularly envious of all the teachers too :rotfl:

Thanks for not moaning. Actually, I don't let people moaning about teachers' holidays get to me. If they're so envious, they can become teachers. If they couldn't hack the reality of the job, then their moaning's not worth listening to.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

My view is it's a tough job and a massive responsibility, I think it's undervalued, as it plays an absolutely vital part of society. I hope that my kids are lucky enough to get teachers as good as some of the ones I had. I also think both the kids and the teachers need that long break.Start Date 16/09/2015
