Masie sorry to hear about what happened to your son.
Knitwitch a 0.5lb loss for me but I seem to have miscalculated somewhere along the line and my aim is for a 7lb loss this time (not 6) as that will take me into the next stone category which is what I would really like before the end of the year.
I have failed to achieve any of my aims/losses so far but I would be over the moon if I just manage to lose the full 7lbs this time round.
Thanks KW you do a fantastic job'I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought

DD is out to kill me with bread, wine and 70km against a 35km/h wind.
Current healthy eating plan is eat what I'm given and be grateful I'm off the bike to eat it.
Tomorrow we cycle to Carcassonne.

Carcassonne was lovely in many ways but so touristy.
Was not really MSE but managed to get a reasonable price meal.
Today we cycled 105km to Toulouse. My bum is sore.
Tomorrow is the long train ride home. DD continues to Spain.0 -

Thank you everyone who has commented on my son and sent their best wishes. He is doing fine the tenderness on his cheek has gone and thankfully no bruising, However we have noticed he is a bit clingier than normal so not sure he is psychologically over it. He is being interviewed by the police today and I have to be there and it looks like the child will be charged. We know him very well as he was a bully to my son on and off at primary but my sone did not want anything done about it as he felt it could be made worse. However now they are at High School he said he is not standing for it any more and I am very proud of him taking a stand.
Had a great night out on Saturday and then was out shopping for Xmas pressies with my mum yesterday. Very successful day and we got everything we wanted so both very happy and now I just need to get some bits of food nearer the time
Right today's meal plan:
Breakfast: toast and butter - last of the bread so just finishing it off before I go carb free for a few days
Lunch Rolls with turkey and ham, satsuma and yoghurt (ditto re the bread thing)
Dinner: Prawn curry with rice
OK so overload on the carbs today but I am planning to cut them back a bit this week. Dont think I could go 100% carb free but I do need to cut back.
Donnajt Hope you are okay.
TT your cycling trip sounds amazing. At least you will be able to rest your weary/tender bum on the train!!!
Congrats to everyone who has lost or stayed the same, some amazing losses there, and good luck to everyone for next week.0 -

Over the moon to record STS
I feared that I would gain this week and am SO relieved.
MaisieM, I too would love to go carb-free as I know it works for me. However, I find it quite unsustainable in the long term so I compromise by having 3 carb-free days on my fast days and restricting my carbs to one thing on the other days. So it will be a couple of slices of bread or a roll or a potato but not more than one of them.I believe that friends are quiet angels
