    Official MSE Insert:

Thanks to Grimbal for starting this thread, where compulsive Rightmove browsers share their funniest finds. Scroll down for Playboy mansions, unusual extensions, toilets in wardrobes and mysterious presences under bedcovers.

    Back to the original post...

Thought I'd start off a new thread as the other one was getting to be pretty long. The old thread can be found here.

How about starting up a thread dedicated to the interesting properties that we come across in our searches ?

I'm guessing these guys don't invite their granny over to watch TV

Had a lot done to it in 3 years...enough to double the price, plus another 75k???
Plus the estate agents blurb isn't actually the estate agent describing it.

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

I was all set to buy that house, until I read this:

In September 2016, Tamplin was fined a total of 45,000 and ordered to pay 30,789 in court costs after Manns Waste Management Limited illegally dumped more than 6,000 tonnes of controlled waste on the grounds of his home. The court found Tamplin acted "negligently to a high degree" in committing the offences and the buried household and commercial waste could have interfered with nearby flood defences on the River Roding.[20]

Goodness knows what's under that garden! Anyway, I'm no longer interested in buying.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I'm a bit late to the party, but we bought some of that (vintage) wallpaper - with the naked, art nouveau ladies - intending to hang it in the cloakroom at our last house, although we never used it in the end. We sold it for 70 per roll on fleabay

    Yikes!

Leaving all that aside I agree it's a 'cold' house. Grey may be trendy but I am getting fed up with the plethora of '50 shades of grey' houses. It would be like living inside a cloud.

Liking pic 1. Is it a bathroom that wants to be a bedroom or a bedroom that wants to be a bathroom?
