    Official MSE Insert:

Thanks to Grimbal for starting this thread, where compulsive Rightmove browsers share their funniest finds. Scroll down for Playboy mansions, unusual extensions, toilets in wardrobes and mysterious presences under bedcovers.

    Back to the original post...

Thought I'd start off a new thread as the other one was getting to be pretty long. The old thread can be found here.

How about starting up a thread dedicated to the interesting properties that we come across in our searches ?

I'm guessing these guys don't invite their granny over to watch TV

    Astonishment is perhaps the word?

I'd insist that the garden be included in a structural survey.
    Who knows what's down there!

No wonder the experienced agent leaves the interior until last

It's empty, like most likely of the flats I see.

You don't get many 1 bedroom houses in London though they are pushing the specs here calling it a "terrace" squashed between shops and with a combined living room/bedroom and bathroom off the bedroom.
Still, not far to go if the boiler needs spares.

I wondered why the EA photo for this property seems to be an a funny angle and actually taken from outside next door

Looking on street view, that's because of the bus top right outside!

Picture 22. The little gargoyle type thing on the coving.

I had one of those, bought on a school trip (well) over 30 years ago, I think from St Paul's Cathedral but can't be sure.
