Hi All,
I’ve recently moved to a more rural area and frankly the regular landline based broadband is useless (struggling to get 2mbps) no fibre available.
I can get decent 4G coverage so I’m considering trying that as an option.
Which router would you suggest is best between these two?
Huawei B525

Or
TP-Link TL-MR6400

Thanks for your help.

If everything's wireless you could just set up a hotspot on your phone and use that?0

I used the TP-Link for a short while and it seemed ok. I've no experience of the Huawei. I'm not sure whether it allows you to plug in a phone to use any free minutes? I don't think the TP-Link did.
The TP-Link is £73 on eBay brand new from an authorised reseller https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TP-Link-TL-MR6400-4-port-Wireless-Cable-Router/181943238406?epid=20031292000&hash=item2a5ca97f06:g:bW8AAOSwys5WVy810 -
Hi Mike,
I can’t comment on the TP-link 4G router but I’ve recently had experience of a Huawei B535 4G router that I purchased on a ‘Three’ 24-month ‘unlimited download’ contract;....free router and no set-up costs. Note: my router was B535,...not B525.
My daughter uses two separate Huawei B311 4G routers on the ‘Three’ mobile network. Both her 4G routers perform really well using the ‘Three’ network and her experience has been all positive;
...however, my own experience started well, but then went rapidly downhill I’m afraid.
Have a glance at my very recent thread on this subject;...it may be of some help to you.
