Went into the back of a car three years ago. Dealt with it privately an didnt inform the insurance company. Forgot about not informing them and when I went for a quote with a different Insurance company. I told them about second incident which was dealt with privately. I am not going with this comapny but staying with my original company. Will this info be shared with my company?
As I was quite specific about incident should I declare it now to them? They know about an incident dealt with privately in 2013 but not this one in 2016. I have the reg and rough date in September 2016 when it happened.
A Plan who gave the quote said they use Aviva for their insurance.

As soon as you start trying to pull the wool over companies eyes you need to remember what you said previously
You may well get away with it but you certainly cannot rely on data not being shared now.

You are very lucky the other driver didn't claim compensation from you years later. If they did, your insurer will likely not cover at the time due to non disclosure.
Really not worth the risk of having to pay it out all yourself to save a few pounds. Nothing stopping them from getting your money privately and still going through insurance"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

In effect you are probably not insured at the minute as if an accident happened you insurance company is likely to not pay out as insurance companies will do a good check come a claim. Seems like a lot of money to pay out each year for nothing.0
