Prize donations for fundraising

Hi all,
Later this year I will be holding an online auction for Bournemouth Hospital Charity and was wondering how to get prizes donated and which companies to contact?

Thanks in advance!

Do you work for the charity/are you a regular fundraiser of theirs, or are you an individual who has decided to do this as a one-off?

If you're a regular, ask the charity - they may have lists of companies that often support them or could probably tell you who not to bother asking! They may also prefer that you don't ask certain companies, if they will be asking them for donations for something else soon. They might have standard template letters they'd like you to use for requests, too.

If you're doing this as a one-off (and aren't really known to them), still speak to the charity. If they're big enough, they may have an info pack for you. If they're only small, you should probably speak to them still to make sure you're not stepping on any toes.
