:rotfl::rotfl: at the very heavy "I've been backpacking across the globe - and spent a lot of time in India" vibes this house is giving out.0 -
But let's face it anyone who has a cross, a Star of David and a Buddha has to be pretty laid back and probably isn't nearly as irritated by the nicknacks as I am. Or maybe the house is really a warehouse for an Internet nicknack business?0

True.
No photo too of the back garden/back yard.
Is that what "back to back" houses means? - ie that your house's back wall is attached to the back wall of the house in the next road over? I've often wondered....
That being the house has 3 attached neighbours - instead of the two I would expect in a mid-terrace?0 -

It certainly originally meant that but was pretty rare and not, as far as I am aware, the case for houses as relatively new as the one in this case, more a Victorian thing.0 -
Back-to-back houses certainly weren't rare although relatively few survived the slum clearences.

I came across a maltings in Hertfordshire about 15/20 years ago which was being converted into residential, resulting in back to back houses, all newly converted and relatively expensive.
In the 1980s/90s before apartments became the only way forward for 1/2 bed starter homes, there quite a few "cluster homes" built, 1 bed in blocks of 4, 2 bed in a "T" block. These were a modern equivalent of "back to back".If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
