After a study-free week last week, I've had a few more show up this week :)

Is the Prolific Assistant extension working on the new website for anyone? I uninstalled it when it started glitching a while back, but was hoping the developers would have updated it by now.

The Prolific Assistant extension works for new study alerts, but it still gives alerts for studies you don't qualify for. So it isn't like Distill on the old site where you just got alerts for studies you're eligible for.

I find the Distill one works great now so thanks again for that. :T
  • The first survey for days is on PA early this morning but I can't do it. The survey needs to take place over three days and I'm going away today. It will be great for others though.
    Don't mess with pensioners.

I dont find this. I only get the alerts for surveys I have qualified for now with the extension. Are you using Chrome?

I just had a survey for men on booze. Always a tad shameworthy.....like, Im a teacher, leave me alone...

I had the women version of that. :)

In fact, I've got the day off and have already done 5 surveys on Prolific today! Earned a bit over £10 this week (my first week) already, but only £4.70 have been approved so far. Either way, looks like I'll be able to cash out soon, and it's a bit more fun/varied than most survey sites. :j

  • I thought the alcohol one was quite irresponsible. Asking people rate on a scale on 1 - 5 how much they'd been sexually assaulted while drunk. :/

I was thinking that too actually. There were quite a lot of questions around that sort of thing, would have been better to have a warning upfront.

I agree, it was completely inappropriate with no warning and far too small a payment for such invasive, rude questions.
  • I gave up on that one - I kept finding they didn't have the options for the answers I wanted to give!
