I have a 2011 Corsa. It has done 34k miles. I do approx 5-6k a year.
It is having a full service today. They also said that as it is 7ears old the car needs its auxillary belt replacing.£67.
Is this so, given the mileage done? I appreciate it is rubber and this wears?
Thanks

I cannot see the Corsa service schedule or the state of your aux belt.
Which garage is doing the service - please dont say Kwikfault or Halfrauds !
If it were me I would opt out and take a look myself - if it looks a little worn or perished then I would do it my self - cost of the belt is about £15.0 -
Im pretty sure they are supposed to be replaced every 5 years or x amount of miles.
However take a look at it if looks fine dont bother0 -

Yes its well overdue and pretty cheap. It can cause big trouble if it breaks and wraps itself around the pulley and wears through the chain/belt cover depending on your year of Corsa.0
