My screen used to have a one column apps menu on the left side with tiles in a group next to it.
That now seems to have changed and I get just the tiles when I press the start button and just the apps if I click on 'all apps' Is there an easy way to revert to how it was?

Settings -> Personalisation -> Start; ensure "show app list in start menu" is OnIf you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0

Yes it was on and I thought I had tried every variation. However after your comment I had another go clicked one or two things , finally turned off 'use full start screen' and it worked!! Thanks for pointing me in the right directionI'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
