Recommendation for 4K 40 inch TV please

Can anybody offer any recommendation for a good quality 40 inch (43in absolute maximum) TV please?

Because of where it sits on a piece of furniture in an alcove I cannot go bigger without a total rethink of the room layout.

I would prefer it to have reasonable sound quality without additional sound bars etc.

I use Freeview and Amazon Prime (I have a 4K Fire Stick) plus obviously iPlayer etc. I don't have and have no intention of getting Sky etc. I have a BluRay player but don't use it much. It would be good if the TV could record to a USB drive as my existing Humax recorder only has Scart and is getting a bit flaky!

Thanks

Richer sounds or John Lewis for the warranty.

LG TV have Amazon prime and Netflix as direct access buttons on the remote and Freeview play app

    40 inch is not a standard size , 37 or 43

This is a 43 LG , usb record to an external hard drive if needed

Have a look at a new brand Hisense in both John Lewis and Richer sounds and get the long warranty.

I have a lovely new Samsung 4K uhd qled tv 43”. I’m not sure of the model number, but it was £529 from John Lewis. We replaced a Panasonic tv with it, and the quality of the picture and sound is just so much better.
