Packlink Surcharges

There have been a lot of problems lately with Packlink raising retrospective false surcharges on supposed underdeclared parcels sent via Hermes and UPS. These date from early October and have proved to be entirely false. Amounts are then taken from PayPal automatically. I was lucky to have only received 2 surcharges of £2.50 but the worst case I have seen is a company that had 34 x £40 lifted!
If you are a PackLink user check, because often their email from the 'underpayments team' goes in the spam folder. I successfully claimed mine back through PayPal but it has to be challenged as 'Service not delivered'
As expected there has been zero reply from PackLink and very little interest from eBay.

Automatic payment authority for PackLink on PayPal is worth reviewing. I cancelled mine to avoid further payments being taken.
