After a good sleep and stabilised blood sugars I woke up and vacuumed both rooms, did washing up, collected washing from the line, wiped down the 'nearly new' bedside cabinet and the 'v old and needs something doing to it' chest of drawers and made myself egg soldiers as I didn't have the energy to cook.

The builder is coming back tomorrow to remove wall paper on the wall that's been uncovered and sort out light sockets. Am not sure it's a bit complicated for me. The great MSE lavender plants came today. I will plant them tomorrow it shouldn't take long.

In about three weeks the rooms will be so much better. I am v happy much was achieved today and also it's payday. Best day of the month.:):):):)

OMG. Susan just spoke to me she is coming down next weekend and has offered to bring me her gorgeous cream wardrobe thingy and also a bedside cabinet which should go in my new bedroom as she is decluttering. She is amazing. Our furniture and bric a brac always gets recycled. It's been in more positions than a Top of the Pops camera man. :rotfl:

Yay it's payday. Ok I have vacuumed again. Opened all windows and doors to air house when I am downstairs.

I put a wash outside after rainy start this morning. I am putting all my sacks of clothes in upstairs store room. I have polished.

I am not mopping until I know the builder has finished for the week as I have to do it everyday otherwise. I can't plant my lavender till the compost comes. Steve's bringing it next Sunday. I am waiting for handyman to sort out back of garden whole pile of earth needs sorting and then I will plant gladioli. Hopefully before May. I cannot clean top part of oven as builder left the correct screwdriver at home.

I have just cleaned knobs of gas cooker. Blimey it looks much better.

I am putting my feet up and am going to chill now.

Parents coming on Monday. Jobs left to do for rest of weekend:
    • [STRIKE]clean top window of oven
      [/STRIKE]
    • do work for work on Sunday after carboot.
    • [STRIKE]Mop
      [/STRIKE]
    • withdraw £10 for fish'n'chips I owe builder as he saved me getting them. Will do on Sunday morning.

Hello my lovely, the weather is going to be nice by me this weekend. I was doing so well till this afternoon when I realised I had forgotten to inject. Am shattered so taking the rest of the day off.

I am tentatively considering switching my M&S current account next month, I have had it for almost a year and my fab savings are with them. I cant decide; I really like them but I can earn some extra money if I switch (over a £100?) but they are such a nice bank.

Coop. I was with First Direct when I first joined MSE. They were brilliant. It's owned by the same people that own HSBC and M&S I think.

They don't sound too bad - decent customer service and up to £5.50 pm everyday rewards - they are up for sale but short term should be ok according to martins best bank accounts

Did your switch to TSB pay out ?

Not yet. It will be at the end of next month. I don't know if I want to close my Marks account, they are really nice, especially the credit card side and keep sending vouchers. I will see how I feel later. Most of the switching offers seem to be ending but I hope they bring them back.
