I recently moved into a house with a old oil burning Stanley stove. We have been happily using it for a few months when it has suddenly dawned on us how expensive it is. ( the oil tank unexpectedly ran dry). I can't justify having it on all the time so I was thinking of turning it off at night. I have read that they should be left on all the time but I was wondering why as they are easy enough to relight.
Has anyone out there got any views, or information on this. It would be appreciated.
