I think people who use the word 'always' are a bit desperate to persuade and not worried about accuracy.

Agree saying like reached out to, are annoying and another Americanism.
Mind you it's not just these sort of things that annoy, it's trendy sounding names, that are takes on names such as Google and Yahoo. Try and make them shorter the better.
Job titles, whats wrong with binman.
And what about all these intolerance people suddenly around nowadays. Oh it must be lactose or gluten free or does it contain wheat I can't eat that.
Back in my day, people, would just say, I don't drink milk, it makes my stomach churn up. Not attach a label to themselves, like I'm lactose or dairy free.0 -

Reaching back for what?! :eek:0 -
We "all" want to know who's won "......"; "everybody" is excited by "....", and so on and so forth (so-called news readers are the worst for this).
NO! I'm not interested, I don't want to know, I'm not excited!0 -
i'm OK with people reaching out, as long as they aren't literally doing everything, like when they literally tried everything by sending an email, or they literally died when they found out they were over charged, or they literally don't want to talk about it, whilst typing about it on a forum.0

Or Depeche Mode where they quoted words to live by 'reach out, touch cake'.
NOT eat it though, just touch. Saves on the calories.
It's actually "reach out and touch Faith", but only with the caveat that Faith wants to be touched because I wouldn't blame her for being a bit upset otherwise.urs sinserly,
