Hi
I'm getting married in April 2019 and my current passport will expire in June 2019.
I know you can apply for a post dated passport in your married name but we need to book our honeymoon around now. We're going to Australia for a month in August 2019.
I can't apply for a new passport yet as i'm going on holiday at the end of November which has been booked with my current passport.
Can anyone advise what I'll need to do? We dont want to wait until December to book the honeymoon as prices will go up.
Thanks in advance.

You don't need a passport to book a holiday. You only need it when you travel. I don't understand the problem? Book the holiday now using your married name.
Or don't change your name at all!0 -
Book the holiday in your married name.
Once you are back from your holiday send off for a new passport in your married name post dated to your wedding day.
