I usually get my tea bags when they are on offer in Iceland and can sometimes have as many as 6 240 bag boxes in the cupboard....I'm a big tea drinker
So today was the 1st time in months I'd gone shopping for tea bags and wow, have they gone up in price !

Where is the best place to go currently for something along the lines of Typhoo or PG Tips....or should I be giving the own brands a go ?

I shop in Lidl,Sainsburys,Iceland,Farmfoods and occasionally B+M and Home Bargains so it's no point suggesting anywhere else really....apart from perhaps online.

Appalling, but I think it's better to find something you like & lay in a stash, and take the HowMuch?! shock later.

Mind, I have five boxes of Coops own label stashed, taking advantage of a Christmas promotion & a couple of boxes of Sainsburys own white label which I intended to use for dying wool & may end up drinking.

I tried the Lidl red label today.
Must say I'm not keen, they leave an after taste I don't like.
    Fortunately they were cheap

  • Should the contactless payment limit be increased? If so, to what? Pls vote in this week's MSE site poll...

  • No its completely wrong. Your contract is with the shop that you bought it off. The staff at o2 should be better?
