    £4.80 in our local in Surrey, we used to go a couple of times a week and now not even once a month

    Some days it absolutely does not pay to be the designated driver.

    If anyone goes to a pub just to drink thats crazy.

    I drink in a pub most nights I wouldnt dream of drinking at home.

    Tonight is cronies night, where two hours of total bowlax will be shared.

    Not a relevant question to ask given the context of the poll. The poll is asking how much a pint is in the local, not whether you drink or not.


    If you don't drink and therefore don't know, presumably there is no need to get involved. If there was a poll on "how much is 1kg of haggis in your local supermarket?" I personally wouldn't get involved as I do not eat haggis and therefore neither know nor care.

    Too much, far too much.

    Don't have a local per se, but the pubs I do go in probably £3.80 for urine like Carlsberg/Carling/Fosters, going up to £4.80 for (what I consider decent lagers) Heineken/Kronenbourg, £5-£5.50 Peroni/Moretti (enjoy these but tend to avoid due to price!). Ales tend to be cheaper, averaging £3.50-£4.

    £5 and over - No way, you have to be joking - let us know where you live!
    £5.50...! O_O Central London. Around £4 if you go for the old-school ales but anything lager / crafty ale is averaging around £5.50 now. I saw a pint of craft beer for £10.75 last week... I can't tell you what it tastes like because I did not try it! :)
