  • Well I just can't find any, anywhere! Even the places where I have an 80% chance of getting at least one is proving fruitless. Perhaps next week will be more profitable for my pot

Hubby comes from Kent so his blood is blue and he has an extra chromosome - Gillingham. They are having a much better season since their new manager came.

Ah - Gillingham. To be honest they're fairly irrelevant to Blackpool. They are on a good run and should finish way above us as it stands so no issues there haha. I think our only concern (on the football side) is the teams below us so we can try to just about stay up.

So I checked my pot and after a trip to the shop and some buying of the wifes coins over the weekend (shes always bringing me a few home when she can - shes on a roll more than me usually), I have bang on £70 in there - I did start in December though and Im not sure when it was all put in. But I can live with £70.

Change from my bottle of wine in the pub at the weekend.....£4 in £2 coins! Popped in my wooden wine box (can you sense a theme here?) It'll probably hold £1000 or so; i'm not aiming that high though. I'll be chuffed to get to £250 - that'll pay for the fairy lights for my wedding.

    £18 so far!

I hope Blackpool manage to stay up. I do enjoy a weekend up north. Have done all the touristy bits...been up the tower and sat and watch some oldies dance in the ballroom and had a ride on the trams. I usually visit the outlet whilst hubby is at the game. We usually go off he beaten track for pubs and restaurants. So any info on any good places to eat - much appreciated.
Anyway back to £2 coin saving, hubby came home with one today. So another one into the pot, yay!
